Our story
“Computer Solutions” began in 1995 when Len Corkery opened his business in Colborne, Ontario. Despite the challenges of being a quadriplegic, Len built a successful business through determination, technical skill, and a genuine desire to help people.
In 1998, Len’s son, Jim Corkery, joined the family business. Working side by side, father and son combined their strengths to build a reputation for outstanding service, honesty, and reliability. The shop became more than a workplace — it was a gathering place for family, where Len’s grandchildren grew up surrounded by the business their grandfather had worked so hard to build.
After Len passed away in 2006, Jim continued his career in IT, carrying with him the lessons and values his father had instilled in him. Eventually, Jim founded Corkery’s Computer Solutions, bringing his father’s vision back to life and continuing the family tradition of helping customers with care, integrity, and practical solutions.
Today, with decades of experience serving businesses and organizations across many industries, Jim remains committed to the principles that started it all: Honesty, Reliability, and Genuine Care.
For us, this is more than a computer business. It’s a family legacy built on trust, hard work, and the belief that every customer deserves to be treated like family.
